The North Eastern community of Concord will soon benefit from a dedicated supply of portable water. The project is funded by the Government of France to the tune of over four hundred thousand dollars.
It includes the construction of a thirty thousand gallon storage tank and the adjoining pipe works.
The community of Concord had not previously enjoyed a supply of potable water from DOWASCO.
The new Penville water supply project is due for completion at the end of April 2012. The three million dollar Government funded project could soon be commissioned to serve the people of Upper and Lower Penville, Amber as well as some residents from Vieille Case.
The project included the construction of a new 30,000 gallon water storage tank and the adjoining pipe works for supply and distribution.
